Spurs 1 Bolton 2 - My Thoughts

Another disjointed performance by Spurs makes one wonder whether we are capable of mounting a serious challenge on the top 6 this season.
- Where is Carrick? We now have 5 central midfielders. How do they rank? In my view, the order should be 1. Mendes 2. Davis 3. Carrick 4. Redknapp and 5. Brown.
- Why should Defoe be dropped? He scored 3 out of our paltry 5 goals this season prior to this game, so why should he be dropped in favour of Keano?
- Are we better now than the era when we had Sherwood, Leonhardsen and Poyet? I seem to think that we played better football and certainly more offensive football with them scoring from midfield for fun.
- Should Arnesen look for established international players rather than players with a bright future on the brink of internation honours? We have too much squad players but not enough star players.
