Spurs v Bolton Preview

This is the sort of game that Spurs has to take 3 points if they want to acheive an European place at the end of the season. Both teams have been surpassing their expectations at this stage of the season, and Bolton has already beaten Liverpool and drawn with Man U and Arsenal.

Spurs have suffered a disappointing defeat at Portsmouth on Monday, and Atouba, Edman are out of this game. Spurs' problem this season is their attack, with only 5 goals so far which is the lowest of all the teams in the Premier League. This is unproportional to the talents of Defoe, Keane and Kanoute. Santini has already sorted the defence out, and the next rebuilding step will be the attacks.

Bolton has been playing solid with Campo, Nolan, Pedersen supporting the lively Okocha. They always look dangerous on the break and it will be an entertaining game at the Lane this Saturday.

Prediction: Spurs 1 Bolton 0
